    Dr. Farzana Saleem
    Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University

    Dr. Saleem is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University. Her research examines the influence of racial stressors and culturally relevant practices on the psychological health, academic success, and well-being of Black adolescents and other youth of color. She has clinical interests in providing culturally relevant care to adolescents contenting with general and race-specific stress and trauma. She is passionate about translating and applying research in ways that directly impact on youth and those within the contexts that support them, with the goal to promote mental health, resilience, and cultural pride.

    Dr. Jessica Jackson
    Psychologist

    Dr. Jessica Jackson is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Houston, TX. She also works in digital mental health at the intersection of mental health interventions and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. She combines her extensive experience in clinical practice with a deep interest in mental health advocacy. Passionate about research focused on racism and mental health equity, she delivers culturally centered evidence-based treatments to adult clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems. She shares her findings on culturally centered psychological treatment through local and national workshops, seminars, and webinars.
